The four winds come home for the holidays. This notepad turns the classic mahjong wind tiles into four little watercolors, one for each corner of the country:
North: snowy mountain peaks and ski trails winding down to a cozy cabin
East: a red lighthouse dressed in a wreath beside a twinkling Christmas tree at the water’s edge
West: a saguaro cactus strung with holiday lights, with presents tucked in the desert sand
South: a palm tree tied with a red bow and ornaments, overlooking a sunny beach and a passing sailboat
The original watercolor artwork is by Lindsay Straw Galloway of Straw Designs.
The generous size gives you room for scorekeeping, a full holiday to-do list, or a proper note to your mahj group. Whether your table gathers in the mountains, by the shore, in the desert or under the palms, there’s a wind for everyone.
